This took place from the 20th to 21st march, 2024 at the conference room of the Research Unit in Applied Microbiology and Pharmacology of natural substances of the University of Abomey-Calavi.
The general objective of the training is to build the capacity of 12 interviewers to collect data on the current state of practices, interactions and perspectives relating to the use of medicinal plants in traditional Beninese medicine.
Specifically, this training enabled us to:
- – Enable selected interviewers to collect pharmacological data from traditional practitioners.
- – Familiarize selected interviewers with the questionnaire to be used for data collection.
- – Assist in the appropriation of the questionnaire in the various local languages that could be used for data collection at the traditional practitioner level.
